Today I Wore Black

I'm so disappointed in my fellow Americans. Right now I don't even have the energy to argue anymore. There's just not much of a point. All we Republicans can do now is show that we are the "better" people by letting the Democrats run themselves into the ground. There is two ways this can go: Obama is either going to fix things, or it's going to go really badly. There is no middle ground. But I refuse to sink to their level. I am not going to be like the protesters I have spoken about in past posts. I am going to show my feelings in other, more subtle ways - I'm going to take the high road. When his "plan" turns out to be that we all become a bunch of Socialists and we're getting attacked by terrorists because of his time-table to pull out of Iraq, I'm just going to sit back and say "I told you so".

So, today I wore all black to signify the beginning of my mourning period for my Country. Black pants with charcoal pinstripes, a sheer cotton long sleeve cami, and smokey eyes. The only part of my outfit that isn't black are my shoes. My shoes are red to represent the Republican Party that I support. Sorry the picture above isn't better quality. My cell phone sucks. That's one thing I can say with pride, though: At least I don't protest with huge ugly signs.

I'd like to share a link with you guys. I can't embed the video because the YouTube user has disabled it. Watch it, though. It's great. It's kind of long, but worth it.

Zo Speaks Out

Continue to pray for our country. This is my vow: From the day Obama is sworn in I will wear a Flag pin until the day that he is out of the White House. My hope in doing so is to show others that the American Flag is still an important icon weather our President thinks so or not.

Well now they no longer can put the blame on Bush, they control the whole show, majority vote in both the Senate and the House of Representatives, the last two years they have controlled the congress---now they have the presidency as well----Taxes are scheduled to start going up on Jan. 1, 2009---as the leftist liberal tax and spend party refused to make the current levels of taxation permenent.---one shouldn't hold ones breath for Obama to cut our taxes anytime soon, although he promised and promised and promised he would---??

That's okay. In the end we'll be right. I just hope it won't be too late.
